
We will visit the Paul Klee Museum that is dedicated to the Bernese artist Paul Klee (1879–1940) who is one of the most significant artists of the 20th century.
We will visit see the exhibition “Uncanny. Witches, phantoms and demons in Paul Klee” that is about mythical creatures and ghosts which are often occurring themes in Paul Klee’s paintings. The second exhibition “L’Europe des esprits - the magic of the intangible from the Romantic to the Modern” shows drawings about the spiritual, the esoteric and the occult in European art from the romanticism to the modernity. Also we can stroll around the museum building that was built by Renzo Piano.
Entrance fee: Free! That day there is no entrance fee for people under the age of 26. For people above 26 it costs 10 CHF. Please bring your student card and ID-card with you.
Meeting point:
Saturday, 7. April 2012, 13:15 at the “Meeting Point” in the train station Bern. After that we take the tram there.
